So much is yet to happen. The Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. Summertime gas prices. The conventions.

The media, for some reason (he hasn't exactly been an exciting President from a media perspective) wants Obama re-elected, so they're trying to tie everything negative going on to Republicans and make Obama seem like the cool hand at the wheel. The opposite is true, of course.

Perhaps the media, the majority of whom are left-leaning, find the Republican candidates reprehensible, and want Obama to win?

Ahh yes, the famous left-wing media that beat the drums of war that Bush wanted.

What else should Obama tell Medvedev ?

"Oh Dimitri, I'm not really sure if I will win my election in November, maybe I have more space then, but maybe Putin has to work with Flip-Flop Mitty then. Maybe I should just throw in the towel, because I'm not confident I can with it."

In this case, the Republicans would even critizize Obama more ... Tongue

I'm surprised that Republicans' problem with his statement here is that he assumes he'll be reelected, rather than the fact that he's indicating that he's going to make big concessions on missile defense, but can't do so now because it's politically perilous.

Mr. Morden is SO right...

It could be viewed as amazingly obamesque to appear so weak in front of a pair of s****y Russian leaders.

This is the bigger problem in my eyes... I was trying to convey that

Obama has won this election. It would take another economic downturn to defeat him now, and I doubt that will happen this year.

The Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare.

I agree that this is hugely important, but I fail to see how it would be a negative for Obama either way.  If Obamacare is upheld, status quo is maintained and no cause for much uproar.  If Obamacare is overturned, it allows Obama to galvanize his base on the issue of "I'll be able to appoint replacement justices" etc. and makes that a centerpiece issue of the campaign.

Politico, you sound aggrieved that Republican primary voters want someone they can trust to push Republican positions.  If you actually believe in the entire Republican platform, what good does it do to elect a RINO who can only be trusted on the economic issues?  Then there is the whole question of whether Romney is electable.  The only way Romney can win is if the economy gets noticeably worse than it is now, but it isn't politically palatable to say that.  He's proven that in order to for him to win, it either has to be a place where the Republicans have no shot at picking up EVs or where he can massively outspend his opponent.  Romney won't be able to outspend Obama by 4:1 or more.

Not even with all those super PACS (i.e. Corporate America) acting on his behalf?

Between Obama's campaign and Obama's affiliated SuperPACs, it's likely that his side will flat-out outspend Romney's.

Obviously David Rockefeller has told Obama he has will be reelected. Obama admits to as much! The campaign that will come will be like all campaigns for the White House: simply a charade where one Ivy league elite play fights another Ivy league elite. Obama knows he is going to win. Obviously. To disagree with me makes you a tool of ZOG (and we must all kneel before him!).

Basically, I could see Romney use this video as a retort on the "etch-a-sketch" thing in the general election.  Obama accuses Romney of trying to pull a fast one on voters by changing his positions to suit his political interests.  Romney accuses Obama of hiding his positions during the campaign, with the intention of showing his true colors after the election, when he has more "flexibility".

I hope Obama wins reelection but the campaign will begin when Portman is selected as Romney Veep and the fight for OH begins where the election will be decided.

Obama won re-election a long time ago, probably when Perry first revealed what a moron he was.

Really?  There's a long history of idiots, from Reagan to Bush, who could have alerted the observant voter.

He has not won reelection but by fundraising standards, he is in good shape heading towards reelection and can have the naivity of thinking he has already won.
