... and have to slowly adjust to the fact that Newt Gingrich has just been elected president in an electoral landslide? All hell had broke loose the last year, and now Newt will be sworn in as president in two months.

(Yeah, yeah, it's unlikely, I know... but try to picture your reaction)

Really pumped to see what goes down.

Can't wait till he installs his mirrors in outer space to light our highways at night.

War with Iran should be awesome too.

Child janitors will also really help.

The world would end a month before his inauguration, so thankfully we wouldn't have to deal with it.

In all seriousness, the poll needs to be check boxes, not radio buttons.

He'd obviously be an awful President, but would he actually be any worse than Romney?

The series of events that would result in a Newt Gingrich Presidency would be far more terrifying than a Newt Gingrich Presidency.

Probably not too great.

If I wake up on 7th to see any election results, it'll mean that I was probably really sick and slept in really late.  Seeing as how most of the polls in the US don't close until the afternoon of the 7th, Australia time.

...or at least, far more disheartening.

Meh, personally.  I do think it is very possible for the Fig Newton to be our 45th President.  I don't think he'll win in a landslide, but those who are counting him out in JANUARY have failed to realize he has come back from the political dead not once, but twice, since last summer.

I would move to Canada.

No seriously.  There is nobody who I am more scared of getting the presidency then Newt Fakeass Fraud Charlatan Sociopath Gingrich.  If somebody offered me $500 to choose between ROmney and Gingrich I would easily go for Romney.....and then hand the person $480 back.

And mind you I definitely am not a Romney fan.

Q:What should you do when the national team qualifies itself for the World Cup football?

you must me new here...my list of epic celebrations is already long and distinguished.

but I don't want Newt as POTUS, I simply prefer him to Romney/Santorum/Paul.  I would vote for Newt over Obama, but I would simply not vote for Romney or Santorum and would skip the presidential level of the ballot.  And I would probably cast a vote for Obama if it became a choice between Obama and Ron Paul.  Ron Paul vision of foreign policy is truly insane, I’m not surprised he is a 9/11 Truther.
