I thank God for American political correctness.  I have spent far too much time in countries that do not have it.

Why? I mean if this idiot had followed any kind of political correctness, the British people wouldn't have seen what kind of person he is.
But honestly we have clowns in our parliament, we have racist in our parliament, but we don't see this kind of things, and it's not like we in any embrace political correctness. What is it with British politics, which allow immature frat boys like this one to make it into parliament?

They're a representative number of what is increasingly a national characteristic, promoted by our national press.

That's what happens when you let just anyone vote.

I don't really see the big issue here.

Do you know a western democracy which doesn't let everybody vote, we even let serving convicts vote.

I don't really see the big issue here.

That would be because it isn't a big story. If there's anything to it (beyond gotcha! politics) then it's not so much the Nazi uniforms, as the acting like total Country Members towards staff. Of course it wasn't even in his (marginal) constituency, so maybe not even that. If it had been though... ask Rupert Allason why that's a bad idea.

This. Though the act was definitely douchy at the very least.

Right, the staff thing is true. There is a special place reserved in hell for people who treat staff badly, as far as I'm concerned.

The rest is just offensive humour.

Right. When you let people choose their own leaders, they sometimes choose ridiculous leaders.

Ton Cheesy

Getting ready for a by-election that hasn't even been vacated yet? Not sure we've learnt much except the eagerness of Labour and its paper in seeing a by-election that they should easily win back.
