What I don't understand is why any other Greek politician even wants the job of Prime Minister in the current situation. Why were they so keen on sacking Papandreou when the only thing a new PM can get is a terrible approval rating?

It must have been mentioned before, but it amuses me that the Prime Minister is named Papandreou and his deputies are named Pangalos and Venizelos.

How is the Greek system more rigged than Italy?

Nobody said it was. I'm not sure which one is more rigged; I just know that both are awful.

The opposition wants new elections, although yes, I would not want to be PM of Greece. There's a reason why Papandreou is smiling Cheesy
