How will this affect Cain's Sunday church discussion bump?

Not to go off-topic or deny the hilarity of that exchange on both sides, but another nugget from it...

What is this fixation with Sharia Law thing?  Is some voting constituency pushing for it?  It also strikes me as unconstitutional on its face: no law shall be passed that comports with some religious sect's beliefs. And if it is passed, can it not just be as easily repealed?  What is accomplished?  Or is this supposed to be an amendment to the Constitution?  Color me confused, because it makes just zero sense to me from anyone's perspective.

And why is Cain flogging this tarbaby?  Does he want to seems as nutter as Paul?

To be honest, Paul seems like one of the more sane candidates during this election cycle when ou look at Bachmann, Perry and Cain.

I'm not opposed to replacing Hail to the Chief on principle, but I do think that Herman Cain would botch up the selection of the replacement.

As for Torie's comment, the anti-Sharia Law people point to various local ordinances that allow Sharia family courts to privately adjudicate divorce, inheritance, etc. as the things they are trying to ban.

IC.  But isn't that just a private arbitration contractual thing?  One can hire anyone to be an arbitrator.
