I'm pretty sure there were six involved. They should all be fired and tried for first degree murder.

Second degree murder for one and involuntary manslaughter for another. Five out of six getting off easy. And the union is okay with this of course.

We ought to have a trial and not convict people on internet forums. The officers should be suspended for the time being, but firing them ought to wait until the trial.

The police are not above the law and should be punished if they killed the man not in self defense. But, I have no idea what actually happened and this article doesn't make it clear.

The Fullerton PD paid the OC Register off to cover this story up, I think a UK publication initially broke the story.

I couldn't see anything in this video. The commentary certainly made it sound like the police used excessive force, but it's really hard to tell without actually seeing it. I'm leaving it for the jury to decide.

He was tased five times and the eyewitnesses say that he wasn't resisting and couldn't resist if he tried due to the position he was being held in. Also, he wasn't cuffed. Why did they beat him instead of cuffing him? He didn't assault an officer. There was no evidence of a crime. Four of the involved officers aren't even being tried! Come on, TJ, you can't possibly think that cops should be able to utilize this type of force without facing direct and serious consequences. This is an abomination and that is why the people of Fullerton are trying to recall city council members. This is police brutality coupled with an aura of arrogrance knowing their union and the political powers that be will protect them.
