I once read that Ethiopians talk about "Africa" in much the same way.

It still won't save his party from oblivion. The only thing this will do is possibly make the rump larger, rather than smaller.

A decision between 20 MPs after the election, or 15.

We should hope so, he can't stay away from Britain forever, now can he.

You think the LibDems will actually make 15 seats at the next election? Personally it wouldn't surprise me too much if Orkney-Shetland was the only one left after 2015.

Wait, Clegg and Cameron are still friends? Is Clegg that much of an idiot?

Well lets put it like this...

Considering the amount of MPs who could end up retiring, it could be complete oblivion for them.

Many seats they'll hold in 2015 will be solely on personal votes. Just look at Fife North East (Ming Campbell) and Ross, Sky and Lochaber (Charles Kennedy) (even Sheffield Hallam, should Clegg step down) - they all have big majorities, but they'd fall at a 9-15% national share without their incumbents.

What are they polling at right now?

9%, while they polled 23% at the election last year.

Worm, Wilson is an epic character and you can't insult him that way.
