David Leip is just his alter-ego, his true identity is protected because he is a minor

But, rumor has it, he was a little boy who wouldn't say his prayers,
and when he went to bed at night away up stairs,
his mammy heard him holler and his daddy heard him bawl,
and when they turned the covers down,
he wasn't there at all!
They searched him on the Atlas forum
and cubby hole and press
and even up the chimney flu and every wheres, I guess,
but all they ever found of him was just his crayons and round-abouts...

In the fantasy elections stuff Dave = God... at least that's what they used to say last time I paid attention to those boards. E.g. In Dave We Trust. I think that's how it actually started.

^ It's true that Dave doesn't post a lot (which is probably a good thing, actually; the forum would be much different, in my opinion, if Leip posted on anything other than forum affairs).
