The reasoning is not that complex. bgwah pretty much nailed it.

I believe in Pacific exceptionalism. Throughout the course of Atlasian history, the Pacific region has proven itself to be the center of intellectual thought and forward thinking. It has given birth to far more influential and important policy makers than any other region and has also contributed far more to Atlasia than any other region. Quite frankly, the success of this game is due entirely to the residents of our region.

Not only does the Pacific deserve another Senator, Atlasia needs another Senator from the Pacific.

Thank you for inviting me. It's been an incredible honor to have served the Pacific for the past two terms. During my time in the Senate I've always tried to fight for those who otherwise wouldn't have a voice in government: the homeless, the impoverished, the youth, the immigrants and millions of other Atlasians in need that our government has forgotten about. I firmly believe all Atlasians deserve representation in our Senate - not just the rich, not just the well-connected and not just the loudest.

I'm still confused about this - why did Meeker talk about the past two terms in the Senate?

Magnificent!

I am inspired, and I would like to ask my opponent Junkie a question, if I may.

Junkie, do you believe in Pacifican exceptionalism? Do you believe the Pacific is the greatest region in all of Atlasia?

(My answer to both questions is of course an enthusiastic "Yes!")
