Despite my initial declaration that I'll run for reelection for a second term, as Midwest Senator, I decided to withdraw from the race and retire, once my term is concluded.

Senate was the best job I ever had in Atlasia and I feel quite satisfied for what I accomplished during this short time.

However, there are few reasons that led me to this decision. First of all, most importantly, it's real life. I have more RL commitments now and Atlasia, we addicts know that, is a great distraction.

Second of all, I'm simply disappointed of what Atlasia became in last months and I can't feel enough interest to participate.

I can't rule out I'll return one day and enjoy the game, like during good, old days, but I think a good leave is a good idea.

I'm very happy with my career. I had a lot of fun being Representative, Lt. Governor, first Althing Presiding Officer, Attorney General, Vice President, Acting President and being elected twice to the Senate, although I could only once took an office, but the last thing I would want is to be desperately glued to the office, with other things to do, both on and, most importantly, offsite.
