God....we have eight months of this...oh well I suppose it will be worth it if Kerry gets elected...seems most polls are now showing Bush bump after his adds went on air dissipating...but then again things seem to have generally remained the same…neither Kerry or Bush has opened solid or even slightly solid leads in a series of polls thus far… so it would seem that more than anything else this poll suggests that things remain close despite Bush attempts to lambaste and mis represent Kerry’s positions (sorry my inner partisan coming through there) so this looks rather like a genuinely competitive race rather than a race that seemed to be competitive simply because the primaries had just ended and Kerry was riding a wave of good press…well all good as far as I can tell…
