What are your thoughts on this?

As a very popular republican in his homestate, and powerful in the party, I think there's a chance he runs. The field is very welcoming to names not being mentioned right now.

I don't see him running for President, VP perhaps, but not President.

I just dont see him uniting the party. I think is to old, and to cliche of a Republican Senator to even attempt a run. It would be like Dan Coats, or Pat Roberts (not Pat Robertson) running.

Considering he's banned here, what is keeping him from trying to troll somewhere else? On some wider scene?

I don't think he would run for President, but he did say he would consider the VP spot if asked.

Old arizona senator who is an insider and doesn't have much appeal to independents... didn't he run in 2008?

As a democrat, are you afraid of him running?

Not really, but I don't want to even take the chance.  Same with Sarah Palin.  She would probably deliver the votes for President Obama, but still there is a slight chance she could suprise everyone including herself and pull off the victory.  Then, we would be stuck with a Palin administration.  I'd rather see a "fair fight" such as Obama vs. Romney or Obama vs. Huckabee.
