The yuppies of 2011

Husband (late 30s), Wife (late 30s), two children in grade school. Husband is short, balding, wears girlie-man sweaters with his work pants and wears glasses. Probably works in an office. Has no authority at home or work so when he gets the chance tries to act like a tough guy. Wife is good looking but high maintenance. She has her husband whipped. Loves her white zinfandel. Probably ain't gettin' enough at home from Mr. Stumpy. Married each other probably around 1998 or 1999...and are suburbanites who act rich...but they're not...they're middle class.

Am I right or wrong?

20 years ago, the husband played tennis, had a tied sweater around his neck, drank Perrier with lime, and drove a Prius.

You mean the "Middle Class" that most people off the street consider "Upper Middle Class", but are really right-smack-dab-in-the middle?

The girlie sweater is probably pink and the guy is probably 5'10 and like 191 pounds when he should be like 160 or 165. Wears a size 36. A chubby guy in pink. Basically a eunuch.


The probably live somewhere in Columbus, Ohio or Aurora, Illinois....they could even live in BRTD's dreaded suburban Minneapolis.
