Burger King to cut 413 jobs

MIAMI

Burger King Corp. is eliminating 413 corporate and field staff positions, or less than 2 percent of its work force, the restaurant chain said Monday.

If we see places like Mcdonalds, BK or Campbell's soup cutting back, you know the economy is on a rebound. Of course that is assuming people aren't cutting back on these little luxuries as well.

Generally speaking these kind of 'jobs' are a huge net drag on the economy - just a social subsidy for the low-wage-paying corporation.  We're better off without them.
