A few short moments ago I announced my re-election bid for the Mideast Assembly. I have been an active member and will continue to do so. My focus will be to continue to work toward a fiscally conservative, responsible and effective budget. My work in the Assembly will not stop for the campaign trail. My promise to you is to continue to serve the citizens of the Mideast to the best of my ability. I look toward a promising election and a brighter future in the Mideast.

Statement

Goodevening, in the coming days I will be resigning from the Mideast Assembly and move to the Governor's Mansion as our great Governor tmth will be moving to fill the RG position on the federal level. It has been a great time serving in the Assembly. I've been here for a long time (so long in fact that I not only lost re-election, was reappointed and then lost two Senate races) and look forward to continue my work with the Assembly and with our Regional Senator HappyWarrior. This will be my last statement coming from my Assembly Office.

Just to save us time, we all know that tmth and Hash will move into the new cabinet and that I will take tmth's place as Governor, leaving 2 vacant seats in the Assembly. Please PM me if you are interested in serving in the Assembly. I figure that it can't hurt to start the vetting process now.

I will be making an announcement over my re-election decision in the coming days. I have spent the two weeks pondering a run and discussing it with several citizens and government officials. I still have not reached a conclusion, but will most likely make a final decision by Friday. Meanwhile I will continue working in the Assembly to move forward as much legislation as we are able to in the coming days.
