It is now within the theoretical realm of possibility (although I'd give each of these scenarios about a 1% or less chance of occurring) that:

a. Republicans win every New England governorship.

or

b. Republicans win a majority of house seats in New England (both New Hampshire, both Maine, MA-10, CT-04/05, RI-01, and at least 3 of MA-04/05/06 and CT-01/02).

or

c. Republicans end up with an equal number of Senate seats to Democrats in New England (if McMahon wins and Lieberman switches caucuses).

Weird, huh?

None of these scenarios are actually possible here in the real world.

That it is even theoretically possible is amazing given what happened in the past four years.

The odds of that happening are infinitesimal.

a. Republicans are not winning Rhode Island, and both New Hampshire and Massachusetts are so slim the odds are both are probably not worth discussing.

or

b. The evidence showing the Maine seats as competitive is very sketchy. And there's nothing for those other Massachusetts and Connecticut seats beyond pure speculation.

or

c. Neither is anywhere near likely.
