With all the close Senate races, especially in Nevada, West Virginia, and to some extent California, it's almost a guarantee we won't be done when the clock hits midnight Wednesday morning.

What races do you see that will keep us awake and guessing late into the night?  How about into Wednesday morning?

Which races are likely to go to a recount?

Washington won't get called election night, and Alaska will take even longer.

Given how sloooooow NH and VT were at reporting primary results, NH-1, NH-2 and VT-Gov will drag on if close (as expected).

Well, Georgia usually counts quickly. Even if the Governor's race stays competitive, I wouldn't expect a call any later than Midnight.

Oregon will probably go for another few days as well, if the governor's race is really as close as all the polls are saying.

Illinois and Nevada will probably take a long time.

^ minus Oregon. I think that will be called by midnight PT

Plus Alaska and possibly Washington. California has potential to take a while since there's so many people and the races should be close.
