I wonder how old the Tea Party crowd is, but we'll never know since they're lumped into the Pubs.

Basically aside from being more Conservative and more Republican, they're fairly representative of the US as a whole.  They're less Black (but not less "Other" Interestingly) and slightly richer.

Though this actually suggests that the Tea Party is browner and younger than the GOP as a whole.

None of the results seem surprising.  I guess the most obvious predictive result is that the GOP is likely to grow more liberal over the coming years.  All this depends on some assumptions about party loyalty and lifespans and such, of course, but ceteris paribus, one would predict a more liberal GOP than that of today in about a generation, and in two generations a much more liberal GOP.  Whatever that means.

Yes, that's very uninteresting. Why didn't they ask to find out how many more are in the closet than before?
