January 17, 2001:

6:45PM - On a rainy day, President Bill Clinton, his wife Hillary, and their daughter Chelsea are in the Presidential motorcade, on their way back from a trip to New York City. Suddenly, the driver loses control of the car, and it crashes into a nearby buliding. The President, his wife and daughter, and the driver are all pronnounced dead at the scene.

6:50PM - The White House is informed of this tragedy. Vice President Al Gore takes the the Oath of Office in the Oval Office.

7:30PM - President Al Gore is due to address the nation at 8:00PM. He and his wife Tipper enjoy a nice meal. Roast chicken, baked potatoes, carrots, peas and gravy is the main course, while apple pie and ice cream is the dessert. Since he wants to be as sober as possible for the address, President Gore has a glass of water, rather than quality wine, which Tipper has.

8:00PM - President Gore addresses the nation, expressing his deep sadness and sorrow regarding the day's tragic events. "May the Clintons rest in peace, and may god bless them", he says.

9:00PM - President Gore goes into the White House gym, where he enjoys a half-hour workout on the treadmill and exercise bike.

10:00PM - President Gore is tucked up in bed with his wife. He lies wide awake for a few minutes, thinking about the day's events, before slowly drifting off to sleep.

January 18, 2001:

6:00AM - President Gore wakes up, and gets out of bed. He walks into the bathroom, where he brushes his teeth, has a shower and gets dressed.

7:00AM - He goes into the breakfast room. Tipper is already there. They have a nice big breakfast consisting of bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatos, toast and coffee. They also have the option of having butter and/or jam on their toast. Al Gore has the butter, but skips the jam. Tipper does the same thing. During the breakfast, they discuss the prospect of him running for President in 2004. I might be in the mood for a re-match with W., he says.

9:00AM - President Gore meets with the cabinet for the final time of this administration, thanking them for all their hard work.

12:00PM - President Gore has lunch, consisting of cheese and salad sandwiches, an apple and a bottle of water.

3:00PM - President Gore meets with the National Security Council, to receive the latest updates on defense, security, international developments, and so on.

5:00PM - The President goes outside into the White House garden. The grass is wet, and he slips, banging his left knee against the side of a wall. It starts bleeding, and a plaster is put on it. He then is lifted onto a stretcher, and taken back into the Oval Office. It is thought that he will have to use sticks to get around for the next couple of weeks.

7:00PM - The President and his wife each have a big rump steak for dinner, with french fries, sweetcorn and tomato ketchup. For dessert, it is a slice of chocolate cake with whip cream. A big glass of Tropicana orange juice is the beverage. After he has finished his meal, the President decides to go to bed early.

8:00PM - After finishing the latest chapter of her book, Tipper decides to go to bed.

Will the President still be using sticks tomorrow? What will breakfast be in the morning? Join us later for the next gripping installment!

IC: Tragic. Hillary was just sworn in as Senator from New York. Now, Governor George Pataki will have to appoint a replacement. I hope he doesn't pick Lazio or Giuliani. Wouldn't be surprised if he appointed a temporary placeholder so that Pataki can run for the seat himself in 2002

10:00AM - President Gore is briefed on tomorrow's Inauguration schedule.

12;00PM - Dinner is a classic Chicago-style pizza with cheese, tomato and pepperoni, peaches and cream for dessert, and a glass of water.
