No, it all makes sense!

Owens wins Colorado by the skin of his teeth by running as a more 'moderate' Republican, makes massive inroads in the Northeast and causes Vermont to go back to its Republican roots, but depression in conservative turnout coupled with high black-turnout causes Obama to sweep the South!

Massive black turnout also causes Owens to lose the popular vote.
