So why do you have a problem with the rules around here?

No... it was just something we'd never gotten around to doing publicly.  I decided to do it for reasons of simply clarifying my policy.

...you're seriously having a 6-page discussion about this? What is peoples' problem? Can't you just act decently and then suck up the infraction if you don't? It isn't really more difficult than that.

I think posting PM's without permission is dishonorable. Period. I don't give a sh*t about the infraction point thing. I would hope posters here would simply be decent human beings. That is all.

Maybe I am animated too much by the attorney client rule. But I don't think so. I respect privacy.

Warning to jackasses, drama queens and trolls:  If you send me a PM bitching and moaning at me for something I said on the message boards, be prepared to see it here....I'd rather you call me out publicly.

Yeah, people do call your out publicly and you still run away.  Roll Eyes

I didn't say I'd respond to jackasses, drama queens and trolls when they call me out publicly, I said just do it publicly.  Roll Eyes

So what's the point? When we do both, you still act like a coward.

Yeah, do us that other favor and realize you're a 50-something. Stop hitting on a 15 year old girl. Thanks!

She's 18 actually Tongue But yeah, point still stands. I don't appreciate 50 year olds hitting on my girlfriend. Well, I don't appreciate anyone doing it. That's one of my problems with PiT.

How the hell idd I get dragged into this?

As for grumpy, if you cant take it, don't dish it.

Especially on an internet forum.

No, it's not...at all.  Which is why all I said was "this is a stupid rule" before the bitching fest ensued.  No one intends to break it, it's not even an issue.

This kind of reminds me of dazzleman and rin-chan, but 4 years later and dumber.

I completely support this rule.

Clearly, no one should be betraying the confidence of another by discussing the contents of a personal message sent to them by another forum member, nor should they be posting a personal message received from another poster, without the permission of the author.

This should be obvious to anyone.
