Sorry. My bad. Nixon would be #2 on my list, for now.

It's ok. May I ask, why Nixon at number two?

I do, but he seems to me that he would look more so if we got to see him at the end of his term. When he died, he kind of looked like a puppy dog.

I would put Nixon at #2 because he looked very solid and serious and because he looked similar to a corporate/executive boss, who often look prominent and like leaders. I hope my explanation makes sense. lol at your JFK comment.

For the 19th century- Rutherford Hayes
For the 20th century- Gerald Ford.

So, oddly enough, my two most presidential looking presidents were either elected under dubious circumstances or simply not elected at all.

What about the 18th and 21st centuries? And BTW, most likely Hayes would have won in 1876 as well if a free and fair election was held.

George Washington. He was the first, afterall. Wink More recently, however, I would say Reagan and Kennedy looked like Presidents. Looking into the future, Romney and Warner both look Presidential.

Washington set the curve for what presidents should be and should look like. He's my pick.
