Are there any in the Democratic Party that could possibly give Obama a hard time for the nomination in 2012?  Discuss with maps.

No. Challenging Obama is sucide in the general if not the primary. If by some chance someone won the primary, black turnout would drop through the floor in the general dooming whoever won.

I agree with both of these observations.

There are not enough conservatives in the Democratic Party to give Obama any serious trouble.

On some levels, yes. But remember, Kucinich didn't think the bill went far enough, and he may end up being a perennial candidate, so I wouldn't say never.
