In Argentina we are currently waiting for a supreme court ruling to legalize gay marriage. The issue surfaced after last month a judge ruled that it was unconstitutional to stop gay people from marrying.
Unfortunately a couple of days before the first gay wedding was to be performed, another judged overruled the earlier decision so the matter is with the supreme court now. And last i heard Congress was going to debate next year for a bill legalizing gay marriage nationwide.
Hopefully we can become the first south American country to legalize gay marriage
Yeah, i know, this topic is about bans, but i just wanted to write about what is happening here
