When is Harold Ford Jr gonna run, or is he going for Governor?

He lives in New York now.
Maybe he can pull a Hillary Clinton. There's no way he's winning statewide in TN. I never saw why everybody thought he was so amazing. He's Memphis's version of Patrick Kennedy.

I think he's a pretty cool guy and he seems genuine

I have 24 senators
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ontario_senators

I disapprove of all of them except for Segal whom I am neutral towards.

I don't have a senator. Quebec has 24 senators, but Quebec wrote in the Constitution limits for creating 24 districts, unlike other provinces, who are at-large. In any case, senators are appointed by the Prime Minister.

But, limits were written in 1867 and never revised since then. Abitibi wasn't part of Quebec in 1867, so I have no senator.

You do have a senator IIRC.

AFAIK the 4 northmost senate districts had boundaries that formed a line from X point to "the northern boundary of Quebec" Hence whichever one, when extended to the new northern boundary, happens to contain Abitibi, would be yours.

I will research.

(This is based on the fact that they were designed to match the "counties" of Quebec, and those "counties" had boundaries as I explained above)

According to my research

meaning that
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Watt
is probably your senator

I once spent a week carefully mapping the exact Quebec senate boundaries, and learned about the northern thing that way.

I then promptly lost the map 2 months later when my computer died.

I don't know what it is, but something tells me that the campaign he ran in 2006,  as solid as it may be, precludes him from running in a competitive Democratic primary for a high level office like Senator in a state as liberal as NY

By the way, despite your disdain in the quote above, Ford not only almost prevailed, he almost won, despite the Democratic Party's decline in Appalachia as of late *cough cough*

According to Teddy's link, this old fool represents the self-made division of Vanier:

It was a Democratic wave year, and he got his a$$ handed to him in the Appalchian part of the state.

Well, I never heard of Charlie Watt! Current form Senate is very useless, anyways.
