Ironically, probably the same people who attended town halls and yelled while a Congressman was speaking.

Well, I can understand how a guy talking with a hot TV light shining behind you could be distracting.  But Norah made a good point in that the organizers invited the press there, but failed to properly accomodate them.

Yeah, I think the Values Voters people came off well. I sympathized with them. Blame the organizers. The reporters were obnoxious to act so offended.

I hate to sound ignorant, but don't reporters usually don't speak during the middle of a summit like this? And if they do speak aren't they usually in either a secluded area or outside where they aren't likely to distract people attending said summit?

I just think it wouldn't be a good idea to have someone reporting during the middle of somebody's speech where people in the audience listening to said person's speech could be distracted by the reporter?

Or were the people who organized this complete fucking morons?

I think both reporters acted unprofessionally, although at least the FOX guy realized after a few seconds that it was a losing battle and just gave up.
