This is strange...Andrew Sullivan was just on CSPAN, and he claimed that everyone in the room with him (a group of undergrad students) agreed that this was "The most embarrassing oblideration of a presidential candidate they'd ever seen"....referring to Cheney being defeated by Edwards.
Edwards repeated arguments a minute after Cheney had finished ripping them to shreds. Edwards got flustered and interrupted Cheney, he argued with Iffil about whose turn it was and then smugly said, "did you just figure out you were wrong?" Finally he completely fumbled the "describe yourself" question ("John Kerry showed on Thursday...Whoops!...
We showed on Thursday"--its not we if Edwards wasn't there!) and his closing statement failed to address the core issue of the race. How was this good?
