2.  through constructive creation, creations that were intended to, and did, make things *easier* or more pleasurable for living, conscious organisms, we have also created a vast sea of man-made risks that pose threats to survival.  from the moment of the first creation, intellect, for the first time, mattered to evolution.

3. the ability to conceive of, have a high opinion of, and/or internalize the concept of God(s) *must*, for some reason, an inherently positive evolutionary trait.

4. the most extreme form of desire is a being desiring something so much that it successfully *becomes* it.  because of the inherent nature of the created concept of God, man is destined to desire to become God.  therefore, the ultimate destination of life as we know it *must be* to elevate ourselves and become God.

5. eventually, a state will be achieved in which life can *comfortably* and *safely* operate as God.  because the desire to be God is perfectly congruent in nature to any other conscious desire, there will be desires beyond successfully operating as God.  therefore, the creation of a subsequent, infinitely more simplistic reality is a *fact*.

6. the desire to become God is so great within us, and it is on par with the instinctual desire to survive.  therefore, the conscious beings of any subsequent reality we create will share the same intrinsic desire to become God.

7. The collapse of a state's, territorially determined by the borders of surrounding nations, will result in an epic struggle for power between wealthy elites and armed remnants of the military, resulting in the rise of a bloody dictatorship and "tribal" power-sharing.

Sounds like you are slowly working your way towards theism.

Don't get too Wittgenstein-y though.

Sounds like you are slowly working your way towards theism.

Don't get too Wittgenstein-y though.

well, this all started when I proclaimed that text-based communication is a bastardization of the original meanings and goals of communication, and is limiting in a certain sense, but also expands the base and breadth of, and begins to collectivize, all of human knowledge.  we then created a basic sketch of the history of communication, from the moment the first two living, semi-conscious organisms entered each others' presence, to now.  at first, the lone way to communicate was non-verbal, and had only to do with securing survival; then, a while later, constructive sounds were developed, which we can call the most primitive of languages, and much later, pictographs, and eventually, text.

the concept of text would have made no sense to those first two organisms because it was a full two steps ahead of what they were doing.  which brought me to my next question; what is the next step of communication?  what is two steps ahead?  and so on.  eventually we decided to hypothesize that it was telepathy, and the eventual destination would be basically a supercomputer comprised of every conscious human mind, in which all knowledge is shared, and nothing is said but all is known.  at this point, humanity would elevate itself into one being composed of several smaller ones, and remove all subjectivity.

I admit that the six above theses operate on the assumptions that we thought through above, but I don't see that to be a harmful enterprise.  even if one of the assumptions is flawed, or even outright false, it is possible to still derive quality information about nature through continuing the process.  think of those economics problems in which the only goods produced in the world are socks and milkshakes.

there's plenty more, but I have to go to class now.
