Burning your house down is "progress" if you're into that kind of thing.

The Democratic party is dying. I can't think of a single issue Americans agree with them on in all the polls.

Republicans are fine with stem cell research.

You mean embryonic stem cell research, which is junk science. Democrats have actually managed to convince people that it could cure alzheimers, and that's unusually cruel. It isn't going to benefit them in the long run.
