best website

http://www.capitolwords.org/lawmaker/R000053/

People in Texas talk a lot more about "Sex" than the other states, Congressman Rangel's most used word lately is "Caribbean" etc.  Kyl talks more about.

My congressman doesn't even have anything listed. Shows how irrelevant he is.

I voted against him in '92, for whatever that's worth.  He's actually not horrible for a House Dem.

Well, according to Wikipedia:

This is bad.

This is okay, but I've read that he was instrumental in keeping the United States from adopting light rail earlier (it'd compete with Pacific Union, which is huge here in the 12th). Also, I get the feeling he's more of a Blue Dog populist sort than I like.

This whole "Blue Dog" caucus is crap. They talk the talk, but they don't walk the walk of fiscal conservatism.

The Blue Dog caucus isn't about fiscal conservatism in either the Republican or the libertarian sense. They do tend to favor balanced budgets, but they're also usually in bed with organized labor more than most Democratic constituencies. I'd take a Blue Dog over a Republican, but I'd take a New Left Dem over any of them.

Nancy Pelosi likes to talk about Tibet more than she does about jobs, health or families.  Meanwhile, Harry Reid just likes talking about Republicans.  A lot.

I find it more entertaining to search for specific words. Some random statistics, for example:

God was mentioned 840 times in July 02 while Satan came up 6 times in March 06
August 04: The gayest month in DC (followed by July 06 - notice a trend?)
"Colbert" gives an interesting graph, especially into this year
The word "vagina" has been used 23 times since '02 while "penis" has only been used 10 times.. and not since January 01
Someone said "fuck" on record in November 02.. but it doesn't say who

Yeah I'm pretty bored.

Ooh. Searching for swear words. Apparently "sh**t" and "bitch" werre at their most popular right before 2002. Coincidence?

Look at the way usage of 'socialism' and 'socialists' has soared recently.

Ha ha, Larry Craig tops the list for "oops".  But Harry Reid has said "sorry" the most.  Interesting.
