I had the traditional Easter feast, vegan barbecue duck and a hot-crossed bun with Craisins.

Not half bad, but like with all the best traditions, the only time I'll ever do it.

I'm pretty sure we did. It might have been fish. We had a roasted ham (made by my fiancee) done in a slow cooker for about 9 hours for dinner tonight (Easter Sunday). I couldn't cut it because it fell apart as I put my fork into it. Absolutely amazing. I'm going to attempt to make an irish stew with Guinness tomorrow for dinner and keep it in the slow cooker/crockpot for about the same time from tomorrow morning through until dinner. The ham tonight had marinated with cloves stuck in it, plus brown sugar, cinnamon and maple (and probably other goodies) in the water it marinated/cooked in. It had a beautifully sweet taste on the outside and was just so tender and amazing.

Fish isn't meat.
