How will Obama's pledge to cut subsidies to major agribusiness effect his performance in the Plains (IA, ND, SD, NE, and KS)?  While I'm sure the voters in these states have strong opinions regarding this issue I honestly have no idea what those opinions might be.

I'm curious how the Democratic senators from big agribusiness (Lincoln, Landrieu) will respond. Lincoln has been among the worst offenders in preserving subsidies for farmers who really, really don't need them.

Unless Obama has a rough enough term that he has a credible primary challenger in 2012, this won't affect him at all.  He's unlikely to have to worry about appeasing Iowa caucus goers, and this at most would have affected 19 EV's in 2008.  (IN, IA, NE-2)  While NC was close, it's agriculture largely doesn't benefit from the heavy subsidies certain crops get.  If Obama's star falls far enough for this to be a worry in 2012, he and the country has worse problems than offending a few corporate welfare farmers.
