...

This is bordering on trolling, Walter. We got the point: You don't like any of the likely GOP contenders for 2012.

I think that there are plenty of other reasons why he shouldn't discussed, Walter.

Again, Walter, this seems to be you just wanting to troll about certain people.

Santorum and "the nutter in South Carolina" have served in the U.S. Senate and are notable political beings. Paulson has shown no desire to serve in elected office, isn't well liked by his party, doesn't have a record on anything besides economic matters and climate change, doesn't have any sort of following...

Do we really need to go on, Walter, or are you finished?

speaking as a republican-in-exile, id be damn happy if the gop were to nominate someone who  1. isnt a nutter, 2. is *competent* and most importantly 3. wont be a sectional candidate.

How about Daniel Mulville for president in 2012?  Served as acting administrator of NASA for 32 days back in 2001, and has an engineering background.  Could be good if we have a surprise space race with China to see who can get to Mars first.

Better get that draft movement started now, Mitty... I have a feeling it's going to be a tough sell.

Yeah, don't rank and file Republicans hate the guy more than Democrats do? Still, I agree with Walter's main points. Paulson would make me more likely to vote Republican.

I think Walter fails to realize that anyone he likes is not going to run because of a post he made on a message board, making the entire discussion of a campaign by people like him or Ehlrich who WILL NOT RUN completely moot (granted one could pretty much say the same for "Santorum or the nutter in South Carolina.")
