Strongly Approve.  He seems to be restoring the traditional function of the Vice Presidency: invisibility.

No, he's been generating a generous portion of headlines.  Invariably for the wrong reasons of course, e.g. "there's still a 30 percent chance we're going to get it wrong"; "My memory is not as good as Justice Roberts'" (followed by his own flubbing of Hillary Clinton's swearing-in), etc.

Disapprove

He hasn't had as many "Joe, shut the hell up" moments as I'd like.

A friend of mine was talking to me about him, but he said "Beeden" instead of Biden, and it took me a while to figure out what he was talking about.

... anyway, approve. Smiley

You must have made a mistake.
It's not Sarah Palin who we are talking about.

So I'm the only one who voted neutral?  I've hardly wasted a thought on the guy since the inauguration.

Disapprove... the Roberts thing was funny, but he hasn't made nearly as many gaffes as I would have hoped. C'mon Joe, you're the comic relief!

I like that he relinquished many of the political controls Cheney had and has shrunk the role down, but that was all like done in the first day.

I don't see "job" and "Vice President" come in the same sentence very often that doesn't involve "tie-breaking vote" or "horrible tragedy."

Since I don't see any effect on policy I have to vote for purely superficial reasons. Disapprove because Biden is one ugly man.

There is a 30% chance that they are going to get the stimmulus wrong--so do you approve or disapprove of a vp for being too honest?

If he were truly being honest, he'd have given a figure much higher than 30%.  Anyway, the reason I mentioned that example as a headline produced "for the wrong reasons" is the minor embarrassment it caused the Administration.
