Two interesting articles -- one in the NYT, the other in Time, takes a look at the role of the two ME senators in the stimulus debate and their relations with the White House and colleages on both sides of the aisle.

Maine, thank you for letting these senators be as independent as they would like without any political retribution. They are still Republicans, but share an undying love for their country first.
