Delegate count, to be updated:

Governor PBrunsel:     220

Senator StatesRights: 280

Delegate count, projection, including superdelegates:

Governor PBrunsel:     460

Senator StatesRights: 420

Undecided:                  100

Well, one of the most interesting primaries this election season is the Republican one between Senator StatesRights of District 3 and Governor PBrunsel of the Midwest.

So far, the national vote is tied between the two, whereas StatesRights holds a slim lead among delegates.

Somewhat surprisingly, the Southern senator is so far getting most of his support from New England, where he is getting a 3rd of his delegates, and TWO thirds of his votes.

To be continued... Smiley

EDIT: I had missed the fact that Republican regions differ from the national ones...all numbers have been changed to reflect this.

GusNews project that the delegate awarding of New England chairman Boss Tweed will be decisive in the upcoming republican convention.

Superdelegate projection:

StatesRights: StatesRights

PBrunsel: PBrunsel

Mr. Fresh: StatesRights*

Josh22: PBrunsel

Boss Tweed: ?

*If I have understood correctly it is allowed for regional chairmen to split delegates. If so, those who are only leaning towards a particular candidate might opt to still award the other candidate some delegates.

Is Boss Tweed still a regional chairman?  That does seem odd, considering he changed his party registration.  He is the only member of the Coca-Cola party.
