Probably stay where I am.  And for the record, the South would never fall to Mexican influence.

The most ridiculous part of this idea is that the borders would split exactly upon state lines.

More ridiculous than Utah joining China or Mississippi joining Mexico?

Well, putting Kentucky in the EU might rival that level of absurdity.

I think Shadowrun's map is probably more likely (or at least less absurd) than this.

The Nine Nations is quite possible, too. Although I don't see all of Central America becoming a large country.

Sarah Palin realy could "see Russia from (her) house"

You know, it pisses me off how many people think that she actually said that.

Depends how deep California is in with the Chinese... if it's too deep, I'd probably move to Ohio (I have family there).

What I find most amusing is the idea that any part of the country could join the EU, considering all parts of the country are equally located in Europe. If the US as it is now can't join the EU, why would only the east coast be able to?

I know she didn't really say that; it was Tina Fey on SNLwhile posing as Sarah Palin. She DID say on GMA that you can "see Russia from parts of Alaska"

Right, but it still pisses me off at how stupid the average American voter is (Repub or Dem or Indy or Other)

This map recently popped up again on another forum I visit, and it got me wondering: has this professor actually visited America?

Pretty certainly not. I can't imagine he can know anything about America at all to create this map.

And it pisses me off that people thought she was really fit to be president of the United States.

But oh well.

This works in the Republican's favor almost every year in recent memory except 2008.

He probably knows very little about US history either;
To think that (most of) the former CSA would want to be called Texas?!?
The entire West Coast under the name California?!?
And no territory for Native americans?!?

What was he smoking?

I love the idea of Arkansas as "part of or under the influence of Mexico."

Don't worry once we liberate the East Coast we'll come and save you from the mongoloid Russians

I hope so, cause ever since the end of the first world war, the Russians have been so pissed about the sale of Alaska. I know they'd want to take out their frustrations.

Blame the fact that we let the soviets survive by giving them lend-lease for that.
