YESSSS!!!! POPULIST! POPULIST!

SERIOUSLY. Do you guys have a problem with focusing on the issues of the middle class? I can assume not all of you are multi-millionaires?

I have a problem with the idiotic american tendency to call the working class the 'middle class'.

I'm much more annoyed by people who call the 80th to 98th percentiles, the "Upper middle class."
That's the traditional usage though - the "upper middle class" is, in one word, the gentry. As opposed to the upper class, ie the nobility.
You're not upper middle class if you don't have a household servant.

Hmm. What are we? Some family members have household servants, but those are the poor ones in Bangladesh.

I quite like this. Its platform is more or less broadly right-social democrat.

What about me?  I was a Populist before Dole came to the forum.

Please, PLEASE make this a Democratic thing.  Take them, all of them.
Um... if we took the Republicans who still supported the things this caucus supports, that would mean you guys would lose Specter, Snowe, etc.

You don't include it in every one of your posts, nor do you have the relentless, sometimes puzzling need for self-identification that he did.

Hmm...I strongly agree with 2, 3, and 4 on their list, and feel that 1, 5, and 6 are too vague to comment on.  I mean, 6 is like saying that you want free ponies and ice cream.

I think it's a shame that populism and being against free trade seem to go so strongly hand-in-hand.  Although to be fair, being a protectionist and being for "fair trade" aren't necessarily the same thing.
