I can't help but be pissed off by what going on in NYC right now in regards to Plaxico Burress.

They wouldn't have known if it wasn't  for the media and him being a hi profile person.   Really they have no proof that he discharged a gun in public other then a leg wound which he could have got inside of his house ( if he wanted to say that).  NYC is pissing all over the constitution.

That's what a criminal case is for: determining whether a crime occurred. Arrest just requires reasonable suspicion of criminal activity.

I have no problem with this.  If it was within the statute of limitations, the police should have followed the law.  Now, of course I think marijuana should be legal, but until it is, laws must be enforced.

It was later discovered that the NYPD found out about the incident only after seeing it on television and were not called by New York-Presbyterian Hospital as required by law. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg called the hospital actions an "outrage" and stated that they are a "chargeable offense"  - Wiki

How in the hell can he be arrested after the fact? 


All arrests are made after the fact.  Duh!
