It's just number of seats in the HoR, and yeah, that's the point.  It's different from our current map.

No.  What we need is not big government ... government is never the solution.  What we need is a smaller population.  We should implement a plan concerning this ... my Final Solution.  What we do is we go to the homes of the very poor, the unemployed, et cetera, and dispose of them.  Now I'm not saying we should throw them in a furnace - there are certainly many other possibilities (drownings, mass executions by firing squad, throwing a spike through them, etc.).

If we have all the poor people die (and a lot of these poor will be minorities, you must be remember), we will be a richer, whiter nation.  In addition, we should go to the orphanages and kill all the children there - it's not like nobody will ever adopt them anyway.

"But if all the poor people die, who is going to work in the service industry?"  Rich people, of course!  There will be tons of jobs available for the rich to fill.  This will make them even richer and our wealth will increase.  Imagine a bellhop being a multi-millionaire!

The richest among us will be the new poor!  And once the population increases again to an excessive level, we will do it again.  A nation with rivers of blood, and canoes of cash!  It's an irresistible scheme.

Yes, yes we do. 6000 representatives would mean more room for ideological diversity in the parties. Also, with smaller electoral thresholds to pass, more chance of third parties making it in.

I think six thousand members would be too extreme, unless we can figure out some way of making a Congress with six thousand members work.  I think it would be better to cut apportionment in half, or reduce it even more, so that we have anywhere from seven hundred to a thousand members of the House.  Smaller districts would make it easier for the common person to win an election for Congress, and it would create ideological diversity, perhaps even making gerrymandering a bit harder.

I don't want to reject this idea entirely.  It's a great idea, but I'm not sure about how we could make it work.

No (D). However, both parties support a form of big government--the Republicans are just less open about it than the Democrats.

How many people who voted in the poll actually read the question?
