Someone claimed a while ago that Obama already lost the money battle...
So- will he outspend Obama by 10:1 in the last week, then?

He probably has lost it, though it is far from the most important race to win.

The question is, how badly has he lost it?  Rough parity was a possibility (0-$30 M less).

Now, has the economic situation affected Obama's fund raising?  Is he now operating on a "coast" strategy?

Obama is a liar who promised to take public campaign funds and then reneged on that promise.

Bitter and wrong. Impressive.

Bitter?....  yes.

Wrong?.... No.

Yeah Obama said he would take it, but no one took him seriously after he started fundraising.  Every political tactician in the universe, taking into account public perception, stated flatly that Obama would break his promise.

Let’s not get all high-and-mighty [and bitter?] McCain supporter[s?], it’s not the first time a politician did one thing and said another during a political campaign…. Hmmm J

So the RNC/McCain are being outspent because?

Drive up the numbers and hope to coast.  Also hope that there will be an air of inevitability that will increase his fund raising while supressing McCain.

In other words, poker words, is Obama bluffing?

Obama promised to take federal campaign funding and then reneged on his promise.

McCain promised to run a clean campaign focused on the issues.

Well, McCain *is* pulling out of Northern Virginia and Michigan, placing a lot of campaign time in second-tier states (NC, NE-2)....  Calling Obama's ad spending a bluff might be overstating it a bit.  It could be a bullying move in one week, cutting back slightly in subsequent weeks perhaps.

What you call "bullying" I call bluffing.  He might be trying to run the numbers up.

McCain has pulled out of MI, but the RNC hasn't.
