Wait ....

Obama wins 35% of Whites, whith 7% undecided and 92% of African-Americans and trails by 3 overall ?

Try again Mason-Dixon. Probably they had African-Americans at 10-15% of the sample ...

Nate Silver is in the tank for Obama.

Lol, total crap.  Nate's pollster analysis from the primary is perfectly valid.

That's especially hilarious, since it would require him to pre-emptively predict this poll result and down-rate Mason-Dixon's quality months ago.  Seriously, what?

Well, if Obama is up 3 nationally, then this poll is entirely plausible.

You would need a plausible reason to assert that Obama is up only by 3 at the moment. I don't think that's justifiable, not without cherrypicking polls and then handwaving them down.

How come no one wants to enter this poll?

Because it doesn't fit what they want. Meanwhile, the old philosophy of "Uni polls = junk" has been abandoned and they're all for entering those because they show Obama leading.

Forgive me for interrupting here, but how often do polls get entered within an hour of the thread starting?

Thought you had.  (Why didn't you?)

Done.  Does that mean I earn a response to my post?  Wink

Not sure. I never follow the entering process.  Tongue

It's odd that Alcon (who posted here already) hasn't entered it. Oh wait. He wants Obama this week. Oh wait...he just added it. I like when he acts fair!

I hate entering polls.  I haven't for like a month.  I just did because I want an answer to my question, dammit

Go put a hoagie in your ear.

Its perfectly reasonable to have McCain +3 in Virginia... even now. Pollsters will have sampling problems, errors, etc. Plus, the other firms haven't exactly been stellar either. Virginia is competitive. However, if Republicans are elated by this, it just shows how truly impressive Obama's numbers have been everywhere as of late.

At 37.5, McCain to win Virginia is a steal right now on Intrade.
