I know this is PPP blah de blah and North Carolina always votes Republican in Presidential years, but Liddy Dole is starting to look like like the Mike DeWine of 2008.

Kudos to Josh22 for calling it, and shame on me for not having much faith on him or Hagan.
Perhaps the DSCC could funnel some of the money going to Hagan towards Musgrove now.

People called me a Hack and said I didn't know what I was talking about, but in the end, Josh was right about this race being close and Hagan winning.

Sigh. It is looking more and more like Josh was right about this race, and perhaps right about North Carolina as a whole. It is looking like the race will be very close here on all levels. The undecideds are still pretty high in this race, so I'm not declaring Dole dead yet. I'm wondering how McCrory is holding up right now in his race. From the looks of it, Perdue should have a pretty comfortable lead.

We haven't had NC gubernatorial polls in quite a time.

They held the election already?

I know, I know, I'm getting ahead of myself. I took soOoO much heat for saying the back when Dole was up by 15% that Hagan would come back and make this a very close election(polling wise).

I'm really, really pleased to see Obama-Hagan doing so well in North Carolina but in the end I think the victors must be McCain and Dole.  Perhaps Hagan has a 15%-25% chance of knocking off Dole maybe...My prediction:

NORTH CAROLINA PRESIDENT -
51% (R) McCain
48% (D) Obama

NORTH CAROLINA SENATE -
51% (R) Dole
48% (D) Hagan

Seeing Dole lose would certainly be one of the highlights of the night but I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet.

it'd be funny if Josh and Harry were both right (not that I believe either one will be)
