That being said, as a Republican who supported Barr strongly before he got the nomination and was considering voting for him, I want to formally apologize to all Libertarians. I thought and still think Ruwart was nuts, but at least she had principals. I used to laugh off the rumors that Barr’s a plant, but I’m actually starting to think he might be. At the very least, I don’t think he has the growth of Libertarianism in mind as his main aim. I still like Root though. He’s probably just as bad of course.

Hey RR, I would call myself a reluctant Libertarian at this point. Wink

I was disappointed with Barr, considered voting for Baldwin...but writing in Larouche would be more sane. In the end I've decided to vote for Barr because NY is safe Obama and I'm still hoping/praying for a true third way.

I think the L's can't do it from their position as extremists (at least to the public that knows of them), we need to be more centrist on economics, to the right of the R's but no further. Liberal on social issues, but not in the paleo-con sense, some concessions even to the democrats could lead somewhere. Oh the ramblings of idealism....yes I'll stop now and vote Larouche.
