His lack of handling of the "crisis" may be seen as a waffle.

You think Obama, with exaggerated "black" features, in a Turban next to Reverend Wright isn't racist?

What do they need to do, advocate his lynching on the box?

You seem a lot more ready to cry sexism for Palin than racism for Obama.  By five orders of magnitude, actually

I understand that this is all in good jest, but the waffle box has a cynical backside to it that I think decreases its hilarity.

Obama deserves every bit of what he gets, to be fair. Actually, I'm getting to the point where I hope the Bradley effect is real, if anything just to keep him out of office because of his ideology.

That's like hoping there's a terrorist attack so that McCain can win.

Not really, one involves death and one involves the ignorance of some people. Personally I don't give a damn what color he is, his ideology disgusts me.

I have a feeling that McCain waffles would be larger, fluffier and more plentiful. They'd probably also taste better with syrup, but I have no evidence to back that up.

the ideologies of McCain and Obama are identical.  the nuances between them occur within that ideology.

Still what you think disgusts me, I hope he is elected just to make you angry. Wishing rascism still exists as a big factor in America should never be be tolerated.

Oh that's so ridiculous, it's really in the style of political cartoon. Political figures always have their faces distorted in this kind of way. Why is poking fun at Obama's appearance off limits? Maybe they should have used a recent photo instead. Roll Eyes

The exaggerated black features aren't really the problem - I mean, how can you exaggerate Obama's features without being racist?  I mean, Kerry had an oval face, that's fine.  Obama has big ears, that's fine.

It's really the mecca/turban/wright combination that slightly crosses the threshold of the racism line, especially because it's designed to be an attack on Obama and not an SNL skit.

Eh, whatever.  I'm just pointing out the racial tensions in this, plenty of others, from Drudge on the right to TPM have as well.
