Minor Update:

Apparently, with PBS and C-SPAN added in, both the Palin and Obama speeches topped 40 million, but no specific numbers are given.  PBS, for one, estimated 4 million watched the Palin speech.  I don't know whether the Obama speech numbers on there were stated.

What I found particularly loathsome about Huckabee's comments was the suggestion that Obama went to Europe and came back with all of these horrible European socialist schemes buzzing in his head, as if he had been brainwashed or something. Does anybody believe this kind of sh**t?

No, he already had those beliefs. They were ingrained in him by his mother who was a rabid left winger.

I hate to admit it but PBS has the best coverage of the event, imho. The only thing that sucks is their cameras are horrible the colors don't come over right. Bush looked like he had a horrible sun burn.

I didn't get that from Huckabee's speech.  Which part?  (I'll see if I can find the text.)

I heard a clip of it on Michael Medved's radio show. I didn't listen to Huckabee's speech on the tube. I don't like listening to Huckabee.  He annoys me intensely. I guess I am too f'ing elitist. Cheesy

LOL  Not at all.  Just fair.

Another interesting note, Sam, but I don't have stats.

National Public Radio broadcast her speech and Bidens'.

Many Christian radio stations broadcast her speech as well.  But not Biden's and some do not plan to air McCain's either.  So she really did get more exposure.

I am also curious as to how many people "listened" or watched online.

This is pretty stunning news although I must say that I'm glad she fell just short of "the one". Tongue

I'm very interested in seeing the McCain ratings now. Maybe this should be an Obama v. Palin race. Wink

There are quite a few people who would agree with you, I'm sure.  Especially in St. Paul.

I doubt McCain's ratings will be too far off from Obama and Palin's, though.

And Obama's been running for what, oh, 15 months.

And Palin's been running for what, oh, 1 week.

Well the fact that people didn't really know anything about her probably helped boost the rating.
