Governor "Pete" du Pont of Delaware (R)

Like NDN, I'm still wondering how Governor Dukakis manage to secure the Democratic Nomination, despite Delaware Senator Joe Biden having a comfortable lead over Governor Dukakis 24 hours ago? I guess people just felt sorry for the Governor, who blew a 17 point lead over Vice President Bush in RL 1988.
