Haha, AHDuke is great. The Republican party has been running on restoring America to it's "former glory" (segregation and economic policies that favor business and the rich) since Nixon.

Anyway, most Americans agree with Obama. The past 30 years (since Reagan) have been horrible for this country, and the ideals upon which it was founded.

Other than the fact Obama's statement can be used in a deceptive 30 second ad, I agree.

considering 80% of Americans think the country is on the wrong track, that ad won't pack the punch it would have in the years right after 9/11, and could even backfire.


On the other hand, considering there are still tons of americans who think Barack is a Muslim, and often spell his name, Osama...McCain might be able to make them believe anything.
