If you standardize these results to the 2004 electoral (according to WA exit polls), Obama wins by 9.

I like Washington as much as the next guy but do we really need to keep polling this state? It's quite obvious Obama will be closer to 60% than 50%

What impresses me is the ten point lead in Eastern Washington if you look at the crosstabs.

I would prefer a Colorado or Virginia poll myself at this point as well....

Yeah, his lead in Eastern Washington is crazy. I don't know how they define E. Washington, but just glancing at the Atlas map, it looks like Bush won the region in the high 50s or low 60s.

SUSA's Eastern Washington sample has always been too Democratic and its Metro Seattle sample, too Republican.

That being said, damn.

Honestly, I'd like to see another Alabama poll at this point.

And most people still think this is a tossup state....

Just living here makes me think that Obama has already won the presidential race. I guess not in the rest of the country. I doubt he will be that strong in E. WA, but he could probably win a few counties (maybe even bellweather Ferry).

You're kidding me, all we need is a few more Kentucky polls and we'll get a better indicator of it than Alabama!

Yeah. If you look anywhere past 100W, the metrics show that Obama appears to already have won (then again, if you talk to some loyal dems, it seems that McCain has already wrapped this thing up). I think Washington will break 60 in a landslide.

And Washington's Obama love-fest continues on....

Can we get a Colorado or Nevada-type poll or something?  How many times do they need to tell us Obama is winning Washington and McCain is winning Alabama.
