I hereby declare my candidacy for the newly created Dirty South assembly once the voting closes.  I plan to bring my experience to the chamber and hope to be able to help groom some new members who serve alongside me.  I know that these positions are usually for new members and seems like a gigantic step down for me, but I feel this gives me more energy to focus to chairing the party and to help establishment precedent in the chamber.

I'm sure some day I will return to the senate, but I'm not sure with the uncharted waters of college how much time I will have.  Expect to see me in the December elections though

1.) When this assembly passes I will run for it
2.) And perhaps more importantly, with Dan Adams running for re-election, I will not run for governor
